I think that we should be able to access other people's audioprofiles by phone. It would be cool. Plus, I've got no speakers.

that's not a bad idea actually. not sure how hard that would be to implement though and it may be too heavy on bandwidth.

and you'd have to know the user ID I'd imagine. I don't know about yall, but I barely remember my own numbers, let alone others.

well you could have a browse feature. listen to latest profiles, etc.

I bet this probably will be fore premiums.

And while we're at it, would there be a way to rate the profile as well? At least be able to give it a 1 throughjh ten.

Cala, one of my strengths is that I can remember quite a few ID#'s if I want to.

I personally think it should be for premium members only. the more I get on here the more I feel that premium and standard are the same.

While I think there should be a clear and present delimiter between Premium and Standard members, lets not take it to extremes. Certain features are appropriate for premiums, others are fit for both camps.

I personally think that, should audio profiles be made phone accessible, they should be available to standard members as well. Remember, premium benefits are benefits, not a segregation tool. If standard members can access audio profiles via the site, why should they be restricted from doing so on the phone system?

I agree with Kai.

I, too, agree with Kai.

Thinking about this more, I think I'm more in favor of developing new ideas for the phone instead of creating interfaces to what we already have. For instance, adding features to voice mail, audio message boards, etc. This makes the phone system more unique. Perhaps I'm alone on this idea.

Post 15 by PorkInCider (Wind assisted.) on Saturday, 07-Apr-2007 12:53:02

I agree J, I think the option to reply to a voice mail would be the best think I could think of right now.

Post 16 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Saturday, 07-Apr-2007 17:31:33

I agree with J as well. And maybe if we could record a personal greeting it would be good.
Also the audio boards sound interesting.

I agree, work on expanding the phone system.

for once, agree with Kev! that feature certainly needs to be put in place. :)
and yep expanding phone system sounds good to me! :)

I think audio boards are a little unnecessary given that we already have text boards on the website. Maybe that's just me.

Good point, though they are a bit different.
